i have a windows desktop at home that i built which i mostly use just to game on. I haven't noticed any resolution issues with any programs i run (office 2016 suite, iTunes, parallels, virtualbox, microsoft remote desktop, etc.). i have watched videos on it (television shows) and never thought "it's too small." that said, normally i am not someone who would ever watch anything outside of short youtube clips on something other than my tv. Will it just be like my 15-inch but scaled down or will it mean that there is actually less space and therefore less content on the page? I'm trying to get into my head how the smaller screen affects things.

Wanted to open a youtube video full screen just to see, but felt I'd have to ask first so as to not look like a bum looking for free wifi. No idea what setting it was on, but I'm guessing factory settings. Like there wasnt room enough, like it wall all jumbled up and squished. Not sure of their return policy but it'll be mail order, so I'm guessing once you break the seal.Ĭan I ask you, since you have one: Is it your only computer? Do you watch videos on it?ĭoes the size and resolution make any difference? I opened iTunes on the MB at the Apple store and it seemed so strange. The issue is I've discovered it's $300 cheaper at this online totally legit retailer, so I'll buy it there.

It just blows my mind that the MacBook Air or MacBook Pro standing next to it on the desk seems so different in size.īut yeah, I wont waste my money on a MBA when their so ugly and so outdated (why do they even exist? Because so many buy them just looking at the price? Why havent I seen a single MacBook 12-inch in any coffee house?)Īs for returning.

I fiddled around with it, always nervous to do so at those places, and came away (sort of) thinking "yeah, it'll do". Just went down for my third trip to the Apple store and again, the same gut reaction "too small". This subreddit is not endorsed or sponsored by Apple Inc.
